Quilt offered to raise funds for scholarship

(Submitted by Kings Daughters)

For the third time in recent years, local women have completed a quilt for purposes of providing a college scholarship for a health career student. Pictured  is Kay Bell whose daughter-in-law did this beautiful quilt, with members of the Ohio Silver Cross Circle doing the batting and backing (Doris Lyons, a long-time IOKDS member, donated the quilt top.)

Details about the scholarship program and Kings Daughters and Sons are at this website: http://bit.ly/KDSQuilt

The goal is to raise $500 or more for the scholarship. For every dollar you donate you get one opportunity to win this quilt (all donations received by May 1, 2017, are eligible.) The winner will be notified soon after the drawing, and will be announced on the website above.

Those wishing to donate can make out your check to “Ohio Silver Cross Circle – KDS” (assuring your phone number is on the check) and send it directly here: Ohio Silver Cross Circle – KDS, c/o First United Methodist Church, 1526 E. Wooster St., Bowling Green, OH, 43402.

Thanks in advance for making a difference!
