Reis – a ‘pittie’ who loves walking and ‘talking’ -looking for a home

Meet Reis – a 2-year-old “pittie” that was brought to the Wood County Dog Shelter as a stray. He is neutered and up to date on DA2PP and Bordetella vaccines.  

“He is a dream to walk and loves a leisurely stroll,” Dog Warden Jodi Harding said. “He seems to do well with the other dogs and loves to ‘talk’ to you.”

The Wood County Dog Shelter is located at 1912 E. Gypsy Lane Road, Bowling Green, phone 419-354-9242.

The adoption fee for all shelter dogs is $89, which includes a $14 Wood County dog license, and $75 vet voucher toward spay/neuter and vaccines if needed. The hours for the shelter are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The shelter is closed on Sundays.
