The Wood County Sheriff”s Office is looking for information on a cold case murder that occurred 21 years ago on Monday.
July 23 marks the 21st anniversary of the murder of Calvin Strong, 32 years old, when he was shot to death while he sat in a vehicle on a country road north of Fostoria. The murder occurred in the early morning hours of July 23, 1997, on Switzer Road, just west of Fostoria Road.
Anyone with information on the shooting should contact Sgt. Rod Smith of the Wood County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Bureau.
