University Women of Bowling Green State University will hold their annual Holiday Party this Friday, Dec. 13, in Bowling Green.
Barbara and Roger Sanchez will host the party beginning at 6:30 p.m. in their seasonally decorated home at 720 Brittany Ave. Joe Baker will provide festive holiday music. Everyone who attends is asked to bring a hearty appetizer and a beverage to share. Dessert and a non-alcoholic punch with be provided.
This is a time for members, spouses and guests to mingle and enjoy the holiday season. Reservations are not needed.
The University Women Community Service Interest Group, chaired by Anne Bullerjahn, will again be coordinating the organization’s service project to provide food, books, toys and clothing to local families in need this holiday season. For 2019, UW will adopt three families with 10 children ages 2 to 14.
Anyone wishing to contribute a monetary donation should bring a check made out to Bullerjahn or cash to the holiday gathering. Those unable to attend may mail a check to her at 201 N.Maple St., Bowling Green, OH 43402.
