William F Quaintance Jr

William F. Quaintance Jr., of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016.

William was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late William and Lucy (Rayner) Quaintance. He married Betty Taylor and she survives in Bowling Green.

William is survived by his two daughters: Ann Thompson, of Bowling Green, Ohio and Lin (Craig) Bo Ra-Taylor, of Dayton, Ohio; sons: William (Sonya) Quaintance III, of Perrysburg, Ohio and James (Ann Marie) Quaintance, of Rochester, Massachusetts; a brother: Frederick (Sue) Quaintance Sr., of Rudolph, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Along with his parents William was preceded in death by his sisters: Betty Ann and Thelma Jean.

William was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and was a member of Village View Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon. William served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War where he was stationed in Alaska.
William retired after 25 years from Brush-Wellman. William served as the Past Grand Master of the BG Masonic Lodge and after retirement worked for the City of Bowling Green as a crossing guard. William loved taking care of dogs, cats, and all other animals through their animal rescue. William especially loved spending time with children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
