Woman arrested after allegedly spraying chemicals in men’s faces

A Columbus woman was arrested for domestic violence after reportedly spraying chemicals in the faces of two men.

Bowling Green Police Division was called by BG Fire Division, Thursday around 8:23 p.m., to the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue, for assistance with one of the men who had chemicals thrown in his face.

Laquita Jenkins, 46, of Columbus was charged with domestic violence and taken to Wood County Jail.

According to the police report, Jenkins was arguing with two men she was sharing an apartment with. She reportedly was punching and kicking one of the men, then she allegedly grabbed a spray bottle and sprayed both men with chemicals.

When one of the men tried to get away in his SUV, Jenkins allegedly climbed through the back of the vehicle to the front passenger seat, and continued kicking and punching the driver.
