Pauline J. Limes passed away on her 92nd birthday on Thursday, June 16, 2016.
Pauline was born in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late Edward and Madge V. (Canterbury) Kaetzel. She married the love of her life George Limes Sr. on August 20, 1949, and he preceded her in death on August 23, 2011.
Pauline is survived by her two daughters: Patricia (Scott) Breece of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Paula (Ray) Thomas of Grand Rapids, Ohio; a sister: Patricia Kaetzel-Robinson, of Bowling Green, Ohio; a brother: Bill (Ruby) Kaetzel, of Bowling Green, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and daughter in law: Patricia Limes, of Grand Rapids, Ohio. Pauline is also survived by her faithful four legged furry companion Cracker Jack.
Along with her husband and parents Pauline was preceded in death by her son: George Limes Jr. and brothers: Junior and Ollie Kaetzel.
Pauline was a graduate of Bowling Green City Schools and was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Grand Rapids, Ohio. Pauline was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. Later on as the children got older, Pauline worked alongside her husband George at their family business L-B Electric in Grand Rapids, Ohio as the bookkeeper. Pauline enjoyed doing needlepoint, however her greatest pride in life was her children and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends and Family will be received on Monday, June 20 from 10:00 am until 12:00 PM in the Wright-Hanneman- Habegger Funeral Home, 24084 West 2nd Street, Grand Rapids, Ohio 43522, Tele: 419-832-2511. Funeral Services will be held Monday June 20, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Wright-Hanneman-Habegger Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Beaver Creek Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Ohio.
