Kay L. Secresty, 69, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Thursday May 30, 2024. She was born on November 29,1954 in Fostoria, Ohio to Rex and Hilma (Huff) Rinebold. She married Anthony Secresty on June 10, 1978 and he survives.
Kay was a member and active volunteer of Dayspring Church. She enjoyed spending her time sewing, cooking and baking and learning to garden. She was also a long-time volunteer for the Toledo Kennel Club. Kay’s greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Along with her husband, Anthony, Kay is survived by her children Anthony (Muchala) Secresty Jr., Brian Secresty (Kim Smella), and Leza (Christopher) Blanton. Also surviving are her 9 grandchildren Emmanuel, Prisca, Mitchell, Serenity, Shawn, Adreanna, Tayegan, Elizabeth, and Jaxxon as well as 1 great-grandchild on the way, Elliot. Her brother Steven Rinebold and sisters Bonnie (Mike) Eyles, Rita (Gary) Gonska, Pam (Rob) Keene, Alice Rinebold and Susan Rinebold also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Alan Rinebold, David Rinebold, Cheryl Rinebold and Anthony Rinebold.
Visitation for Kay will be held on Monday June 3, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Dunn Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 4, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Pastor Steve Davis will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. A luncheon will follow burial at St. Aloysius Catholic Church Annex, 150 S. Enterprise St. in Bowling Green.
Memorial contributions may be given in Kay’s honor to Dayspring Church or to the Toledo Kennel Club.
