The Wood County Emergency Management Agency has issued the following advisory:
This is an update from the morning briefing:
- The timing window for the storms has expanded to 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- As the storms move into Ohio- it is expected they will begin to dissipate, however, Wood County remains in at in the “Enhanced Risk” due to the possibility of severe weather and wind forecast.
- The main threats remain damaging winds, hail, and brief tornadoes.
Next week all northern Ohio will be in an “Extreme Heat Risk” (4 of 4) with high temperatures over 90F, Heat Index near 100F and low overnight temperatures in the mid-70s.
