Bowling Green Police arrested a woman for threatening people and refusing to leave a bar Wednesday (July 9) in the downtown area.
Officers were called to a bar in the 100 block of North Main Street, at 1:37 a.m., for two people refusing to leave the establishment.
Tricia Olmstead, 45, Bowling Green, was arrested for criminal trespassing, resisting arrest, obstructing official business, and menacing. She was taken to Wood County Jail. A man with her was given a warning for criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct, and was told he was no longer allowed in the bar.
Olmstead reportedly threatened bar patrons and staff with physical violence, and was asked to leave multiple times.
As officers escorted Olmstead outside, she reportedly began dragging her feet and refused to walk. She reportedly tripped over her feet, fell to the ground, and took two officers with her. She also allegedly made multiple attempts to grab police officers and their gear, according to the police report.
