In a period of 26 hours over the weekend, Bowling Green Police charged seven drivers in the city with operating vehicles while under the influence.
One of the drivers was also charged with improper handling of firearms, since he had a pistol in the center console area, and a rifle in the backseat area. Yoni Moralez, 23, of Willard, was cited for OVI with a BAC of 0.184.
The citations were made between the hours of 1 a.m. on Saturday (Aug. 23) and 3 a.m. on Sunday (Aug. 24), in the downtown area, the 1600 block of East Wooster, and the area of South College Avenue and Scott Hamilton Boulevard.
