Donna J. (Doolittle) Roach, age 71, of Bowling Green, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at her home. She was born on January 27, 1954, in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Franklin & Jessie (Bateson) Doolittle. Donna married Randy L. Roach on October 26, 1974, in Findlay, and he preceded her in passing on January 17, 2018.
Surviving Donna are her sons, Brian Roach, Matthew (Audra) Roach, Jason (Brittany) Roach; grandchildren, Isabella, Leo, and Ella Roach; siblings, Don (Christine) Doolittle, Charles (Donna) Doolittle, Rebecca (William) Patterson, James (Susan) Doolittle, Janet (Dana) Reed, David Doolittle, Diane (Dane) Erford; sister-in-law, Jill Roach. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Randy; infant son, Michael; siblings, Winifred Doolittle, Patricia (Robert) Cramblit, Theodore (Linda) Doolittle.
Donna was a 1972 graduate of Cory Rawson High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing, and worked as a Nurse at Wood County Hospital for 37 years. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Brethren Church near Wayne and enjoyed spending time at the Wood County Senior Center in Bowling Green. Donna had a love for reading, working on crossword puzzles and playing dominos. She had great appreciation for sitting on her porch watching the sunsets and taking long walks on trails near her house.
Friends will be received from 12 – 2 PM on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Mt. Zion Untied Brethren Church, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on October 3, 2025, at 2 PM with Pastor William Patterson officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery. All arrangements have been entrusted to Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne. Memorial donations can be made to the Portage Holiness Camp.
