The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to participate in the “Holiday Nature Crafts” program. People can celebrate the joy of the holiday season by joining BG Parks and Recreation at the Wintergarden/St. John’s Nature Preserve on Saturday, Dec. 13, for a day of creative, nature-inspired crafting.

- Time: Choose from two sessions
- Session 1: 9 – 10:30 a.m.
- Session 2: 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Location: Wintergarden/St. John’s Nature Preserve
This event offers an array of activities that cater to both preschool and elementary-age children ranging from 3 to 11 years old. Participants will be able to craft five projects that can be used to adorn their homes for the holiday season or given as gifts to loved ones.
For those interested in attending, note that the program is free, but registration is required. Bowling Green residents may register beginning Friday, Nov. 14, while non-residents can begin their registration on Friday, Nov. 21.
In addition to the crafting stations, this program will provide an extra touch of warmth and delight with treats that can be toasted over an open fire.
This is an opportunity for families to come together, explore their creativity, and make memories.
