A 14-year-old boy was arrested for reportedly robbing a man in his residence in the 200 block of South College Drive.
The man told police that the teenager, accompanied by three other boys, pressed what he believed was a firearm to his chest and threatened to shoot him. The man described the firearm as an AK-47 style rifle. He said the boy then punched him in the head, leaving a lump over his eye, broke his eyeglasses and his headphones, and stole $160.
Police charged the boy with robbery and took him to the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center. Officers reportedly searched the boy’s home and found an AK-47 style BB gun at the residence.
