City Parking Lot 2, located behind the first block of businesses on the east side of South Main Street, is scheduled to be repaved this summer, with work beginning Monday, June 6. Starting on Monday, Duffey Concrete will begin saw cutting throughout the parking lot in preparation of conduit being installed prior to paving of the lot. Because of the conduit installation and required saw cutting, parking spots throughout the lot will be bagged and designated no parking. Throughout this portion of work, Lot 2 will remain open and accessible to the public.
The Shelly Company is scheduled to begin the repaving portion of the project on or around the second week of July. During the repaving portion of work, the parking lot will be closed.
