Patricia A. Weigel, 71, of Genoa, passed away on August 2, 2016. She was born on September 20, 1944 in Fostoria to Gerald and Carolyn (Ginn) Weigel. Pat worked as a radio dispatcher for the Ohio State Highway Patrol and retired after 23 years of service. She enjoyed NASCAR, the Detroit Red Wings and the Miami Dolphins. Pat was a animal lover and supported the Humane Society. She is survived by her sister, Sandra (Danny) Pockett of Bowling Green; nieces, Stacy (John) Strausbaugh and Dawn (Joe) Ritzu; great-nephew, Adam Ritzu and great-niece, Nicole Ritzu. Also left to mourn her passing is her best friend, Becky Armstrong. Pat’s funeral service will be on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11am at the Dunn Funeral Home located in Bowling Green’s Historical District at 408 W. Wooster St. Pastor Deb Conklin will officiate. Interment next to her parents will follow at Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria. The family will receive friends from 10am until service time at the funeral home.
