Wood County Clerk of Courts Douglas Cubberley has recently filed his petitions with the Wood County
Board of Elections, seeking a second term in the November 2024 election.
Cubberley has been Clerk since January 2021, after retired as the Court Administrator for the Bowling
Green Municipal Court in August 2020 after twenty-four years with the Court. He is presently an active
member of the Ohio Clerk of Courts Association and serves on the Association’s Legislative Committee.
Serving the citizens of Wood County as Clerk is a duty that I take very seriously and I am humbled that
they have placed their trust in me to be their Clerk. I am also very proud of the dedicated and
experienced staff and the outstanding service they provide.
