Floyd Hinkle Wilson, age 75, of Weston, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Wood Haven Health Care in Bowling Green. He was born on April 5, 1948, in Webster County, West Virginia, to the late Kelly & Ressie May (Payne) Wilson. Floyd married Lottie C. Kern on November 18, 2000, and she preceded him in passing on October 8, 2022.
Surviving Floyd is his sister Mary Keener of Toledo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kelly & Russie; loving wife, Lottie; siblings, Vivian Jacklitch, Virginia Keck, Bill Wilson, Allen Wilson, Gordon Wilson, Jackie Wilcox; and his beloved pet, Sasha Wilson.
Floyd was a 1966 graduate of Webster Springs High School, and then served his Country proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He then worked as an Electrician Engineer in Service EM3, and Electrical Assembler at the Toledo Scale, was a member of Wood County Connection Center, and was also a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Floyd’s family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green, Wood Haven Health Care, and Dawn Iagnemma-Mossbarger for the wonderful services and care they provided to Floyd.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 11 AM at Graham Cemetery near Wayne with Pastor Ron Merritt officiating.
