Bowling Green Police responded to an apartment in the 900 block of South Main Street, Thursday around 11:30 p.m., after it was reported that a suspicious person was crawling around outside an apartment window.
Police talked with a neighbor, who said he had seen the man wearing a black hoodie with the number 11 on the back, banging on the door and looking into the window of an older woman’s apartment. The neighbor called police when the man in the hoodie returned to the same apartment about 30 minutes later.
An officer deployed the police division’s new drone, to look for the man along South Main Street.
Soon after, the man in the hoodie was seen walking toward a police cruiser. When officers asked, he reportedly acknowledged he had been knocking at the apartment door. The police report said the man became agitated when asked why he was knocking at the door, and began to yell, using foul language about the woman.
At the request of the woman who lives in the apartment, the man was given a warning for criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.
