Bowling Green Police charged three people over the weekend with domestic violence.
The first incident reportedly occurred Friday (10/25) around 9:30 p.m., when Anthony Holloway Jr., 24, of Bowling Green, allegedly threw a woman’s cell phone out of a vehicle’s window. The woman flagged down BGSU Police in the area of Thurstin Avenue and East Court Street. BGPD responded to the scene. The woman had a red mark on her chin, reportedly from a pop can thrown by Holloway. The woman also showed police bruises on her arms and legs, allegedly from previous abuse by Holloway. He was taken to Wood County Jail.
The next incident was reported on Saturday (10/26) at 3:14 a.m., when a BGPD officer reportedly saw one woman strike another woman in the face in the driveway at Taco Bell, 320 E. Wooster St. Video footage from a nearby food truck reportedly showed Kiegh Macklin, 20, of Lima, hitting the other woman twice. Macklin, who reportedly had bands on from multiple downtown bars, was arrested for domestic violence and underage alcohol consumption. She was taken to Wood County Jail.
Later on Saturday (10/26) at 2:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a man making death threats to a woman and her male friend. The woman reportedly showed police multiple threatening texts allegedly sent by Andrew Sanderson, 38, of Bowling Green. Sanderson was charged with domestic violence and taken to Wood County Jail.
