Julie M. Jividen, 66, of Gibsonburg, passed away at home, Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Julie was born Julie M. Myers on February 18, 1958 in Toledo, OH to Duane and Jane (Dymond) Myers. She was married by her aunt who was Mayor of Gibsonburg, OH to Thomas R. “Tom” Jividen on June 10, 1996. Julie and Tom celebrated over 27 years of marriage together.
As Julie’s heath allowed, she had worked at Country Nook Nursery in Wayne, OH 10 plus years, she later worked as a cashier for Kirwen’s Super Market in Gibsonburg for 5 years, and later for Lowes in Fremont, before finally retiring. She was a member of Pemberville United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed helping make desserts for the church diners. Julie enjoyed the outdoors; gardening, golfing, going to Christian Concerts, and camping. Other enjoyments included fires in the backyard when not able to go camping, restoring antique furniture, and crafting. As an artist she liked painting, bowling with her husband Tom, and especially enjoyed cooking. Julie had many joys, but it was spending time with her family that she enjoyed most of all.
In addition to her husband Tom, Julie is survived by her children: Michael Boyd of Gibsonburg, Aaron (Chrissy) Boyd of Findlay, Christopher Soals of Gibsonburg, Patrick Soals of Gibsonburg, Jane (Stephen) Hart of Fremont, and Grace (Mitchell) Dingus of Bowling Green. Grandchildren: Alexander, Lorelai, Henrick, Orion, Illyria. Brothers: Jim Myers, Rex (Marie) Myers, and sister; Maggie Myers. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers: Bill and Randy Myers.
The family is planning a memorial service 1p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Pemberville United Methodist Church 205 Perry Street. Officiating will be Pr. Leroy Sholey.
