The City of Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department along with the College of Musical Arts at BGSU will be kicking off the 14th Annual Brown Bag Music Series sponsored by Bowling Green Manor/Bowling Green Care Center on Jan. 31, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Simpson Building, 1291 Conneaut Ave.
Folks are invited to bring their lunch and enjoy a musical performance by students and faculty from the College of Musical Arts in a comfortable and warm setting. Drinks and dessert will be available for purchase.
Following is a list of performances planned in the series:
- Jan. 31 – A Vocal Arts Celebration
- Feb. 14 – The Afro-American Spiritual
- Feb. 28 – A Musical Theatre Extravaganza
- March 6 – Chamber Music from BGSU
- March 27 – Selections from the BGSU Opera Theatre’s production of The Secret Marriage
- April 3 – A Plethora of Cellists, featuring students from the studio of Dr. Brian Snow
