Downtown Bowling Green eateries Beckett’s Burger Bar and Sam B’s Restaurant will hold “Give a Fork” day-long benefits for the BG Boom Festival and Fireworks.
On Tuesday, May 30, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Beckett’s Burger Bar, 163 S. Main St., will donate 15% of all the day’s sales to the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Foundation to support the Boom Festival.
On June 13, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., Sam B’s Restaurant, 146 N. Main St., will donate 15% of its sales to the community event.
There will be no coupon to present, no special code to provide. Sales include all eat in and dine out.
“George and Amy Strata provide so much outreach in the community and this is just one more way for them to show how much they appreciate this community,” said Mary Hinkelman, Executive Director of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce. “They have made it so simple for us. They just want us to get the word out on these fundraisers. We appreciate their support of this event and all our other projects too. Last year, this event had a fantastic first with the addition of the festival. Everyone truly appreciated that we it was welcoming and inviting for all.”
