Bowling Green Arts Council is proud to announce “Better than Ever,” an exhibit featuring 54 works in a variety of media by 23 artists ages 50 and up.
A Groundhog Day opening reception at the Wood County Senior Center with refreshments and music by Lucy Long and the Root Cellar String Band will be held from 5 – 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2. Guests will be able to vote for the Art Supply Depo People’s Choice Award to be announced at 7:30 p.m. “Better than Ever” is sponsored by the Bowling Green Arts Council and the Wood County Committee on Aging.
Following the opening, the show will be open from Feb. 3 through Feb. 27 at the Senior Center, 140 S. Grove St., Bowling Green. Center hours are Mondays, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.; and Fridays, from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is free, and many of the works are for sale.
