BG accepting applications from local organizations for city emergency food funds

In response to the federal cuts to the SNAP program, the City of Bowling Green has announced the availability of $50,000 in emergency food service funding for organizations that serve residents experiencing food insecurity. Organizations providing food assistance to local residents are encouraged to apply for financial support. 

Completed applications are due by Sunday, Nov. 16, and should be emailed to cd@bgohio.gov. The application form is available at: https://buff.ly/Et3WbMQ

Organizations must submit completed applications via email by the listed due date to be considered. For questions or more information, contact the Community Development Department at cd@bgohio.gov.
