From BOWLING GREEN ARTS COUNCIL
The Bowling Green Arts Council (BGAC) has opened registration for its new exhibit, “Abstract Artistry,” which will open Sept. 4 and run through Sept. 30. The exhibit will be on display at the BGAC ArtSpace during business hours at Coyote Beads and Jewelry, 178 S. Main St.
Both two-dimensional and three-dimensional artists may submit a piece for the show, and the registration deadline for artists is 6 p.m., Monday, Aug. 25. The registration form and more information can be found on the BGAC website. Prizes will be awarded to winners in the “Best of Show” and “People’s Choice” categories.
“I’m really exciting about this show,” said Robin Gerrow, president of the BGAC. “It can encompass so many styles and media to showcase during the Black Swamp Arts Festival.”
The BGAC is a volunteer organization working with local artists, arts organizations, and supporters to provide inspiration, enjoyment, and learning opportunities in the Bowling Green community. More information can be found at bgartscouncil.com.
