From BOWLING GREEN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Holiday Parade Project Team and the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Foundation are excited to announce the winners of the 2025 Bowling Green community holiday parade. This year’s theme was “Holidays Through the Decades,” and the panel of judges, consisting of Judge Matt Reger, Kevin Fowler, and Tari Christoff oversaw a parade full of holiday cheer.
The parade had 100 units this year, with 78 of those units qualifying to be judged. The following parade participants were given awards:
- Best of show – The BEAT Dance Company
- Most unique – Black Swamp Riders
- Best float decoration/construction – BG Christian Academy
- Best youth organization – Girl Scout Troop 1288
- Best live performance – The BEAT Dance Company
- Honorable mention – Buckarooters
The following criteria were used to score the floats: adherence to theme, creativity in decoration, use of music, performance quality, wow-factor, participant engagement, and costumes.
This year’s parade had several performing groups, including marching bands, twirlers, dancers, and more. There were several festive floats scattered among the Jeeps, tractors, firetrucks, and classic cars.
The BG Chamber thanked the 2025 annual Bowling Green community holiday parade presenting sponsors: The City of Bowling Green, The Chamber of Commerce, Bowling Green State University, and Wood County Hospital. The BG Chamber would also like to thank Visit BG Ohio, VFW Post 1148, American Warming and Ventilating, The BEAT Dance Company, Dairy Queen, Mosser Construction, and other sponsors for their support. The BG Chamber also thanked Ohio Logistics for sponsoring the “Holiday Parade Experience” fundraiser.
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce also acknowledged all the volunteers that helped make this holiday tradition happen; it cannot be done without the assistance of the community.
