Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with The Employers’ Association, will be offering a series of webinars with Dave Tippett, SHRM-CP, HRCI.
The first webinar, “Supporting Remote Employees” will be in response to the COVID-19 restrictions and will help managers who are supporting their employees while they are temporarily working from home. This will be held on Monday, April 13 from 4:00 pm-5:00 pm. Mr. Tippett will discuss how managers can support remote employees by providing communication technology options, establishing accountability, as well as providing ongoing encouragement and support.
The second webinar will be held on Thursday, April 30 from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm. “Generations At Work and You” will offer information about how employees of different generations can be encouraged to appreciate what each one brings to the workforce. Mr. Tippett will present on what the 5 Generations at work have in common, what are real traits and what are stereotypes, tailoring communication styles for the best results, and getting employees of all ages to work productively.
The third webinar, “Coaching for Results”, will cover the “10 Sure Fire Actions of a Coach”, “B.I. for Best Results”, and the “4 Coaching Missteps Leaders Make”. This webinar will be held on Thursday, May 7 from 12:00 pm- 1:00 pm.
The final webinar, “Building and Maintaining a Great Workplace Culture,” will be held on Thursday, June 11 from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm. Mr. Tippett’s webinar will focus on how to have a never ending focus on small, daily actions, always leading from the front, envisioning the culture you want, and the importance of constant diligence.

Dave Tippett is well-known in the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan business community for his enthusiasm, training creativity and commitment to helping people work better, together. He has a rich history as a problem solver and provider of excellent training over the past 30 years.
Before coming to The Employers’ Association, he worked and trained for a large behavioral healthcare organization. Before then, Dave was a Human Resources Director in Toledo for ten years. Dave has provided training for a number of area companies and organizations, including Cooper Tire, Campbell Soup, General Motors, Whirlpool, Libbey Inc., Sauder’s Woodworking and Signature Bank to name a few.
He is also Past President of two area SHRM chapters, served a Co-Chair for three large regional HR conferences, is a published and award winning playwright, author, above average husband and father to several “fur children.”
Dave and his long suffering wife, Jill, make their home in Gibsonburg. Dave is a graduate of the University of Toledo and holds a Professional Human Resources certification from the Society of Human Resources.
