The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce (BGCC) will launch its 2026 “Learn · Network · Grow” series with a Breakfast Bite session titled, “Why Your Business Needs a Podcast,” on Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 8 a.m. The event will take place at the BGCC office, 217 S. Church St., and is offered at no cost to chamber investors.
Presenters will include Karl Smith, Falcon Media manager, and Phil Beskid, associate teaching professor, who will share practical insights into how podcasting can elevate a company’s visibility, credibility, and engagement.
Attendees will learn:
- How podcasting fits into a modern marketing strategy
- What equipment and setup are needed
- How to repurpose podcast content for multi-channel impact
- Examples of local and small-business podcast success
This one-hour Breakfast Bite is designed to help businesses start their morning – and their year – with fresh, actionable ideas. Coffee and light breakfast will be provided, and attendees will have time to network with other local professionals.
