The City of Bowling Green continues to work closely with the Wood County Health Department, Wood County EMA, and the Ohio Department of Health.
As the coronavirus virus (COVID-19) continues to spread, the city is taking precautions to minimize face-to-face contact in an effort to help slow the spread and threat of the virus.
Beginning Tuesday, March 17, the Bowling Green City Administrative Services Building and all other city facilities (with the exception of the Bowling Green Municipal Court) will be operating on a modified basis and restricting public access. City staff in all of these offices will continue to work and will be available to answer phones and emails. These actions are being taken to minimize face-to-face contact between employees and the public; however, city operations will continue to function.
The public is urged to visit the city’s website – www.bgohio.org – for frequently asked questions, to download and print permits, or to obtain contact information for the respective departments/divisions.
Residents and customers that need to turn in permits or other paperwork to the city building may still do so. Permits, utility payments, income tax filings, and other commonly used forms may be filled out or turned in using a drop box located outside the building, mailed in, or submitted electronically via email (if applicable).
Staff will frequently check the drop box throughout the business day (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) The public is urged to consider alternate arrangements to pay utility bills such as signing up for automatic payment, paying online (plus a processing fee) or by phone (plus a processing fee.)
