The Bowling Green Community Center will be closed to all facility users from Monday, July 28, through Friday, Aug. 1, for its annual maintenance shutdown.
The fitness center and indoor track are scheduled to reopen on Saturday, Aug. 2, while the gymnasium courts will reopen on Monday, Aug. 4, following the full curing of the resurfaced floors.
For those needing to conduct business with the Parks & Recreation Department during this
time, the Simpson Building Administrative Offices, 1291 Conneaut Ave., will remain open on
a limited basis, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to process program registrations, rental reservations/payments, and other related services.
As part of the city’s reciprocal use agreement, Community Center passholders will have access to the BGSU Student Recreation Center during the closure. Additional details regarding this temporary access will be shared with current passholders via email as the maintenance dates approach.
The Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Department would like to thank all Community Center users for their understanding and cooperation during this essential maintenance period.
