The Bowling Green Human Relations Commission is inviting all community members and faith leaders to the Veterans Memorial Building in City Park on Tuesday, April 14, for the revived annual Community Multifaith Breakfast.

Originally launched in 2016, and with the last event held in 2019, this tradition returns as a morning of reflection and fellowship. Taking place from 7:15 – 9 a.m., the breakfast will offer an opportunity for neighbors of all backgrounds to come together, share a meal, and celebrate the diverse spiritual fabric of Bowling Green.

The theme for the 2026 breakfast is “Peace: Respecting Our Differences.” In a time of global and local complexity, this gathering seeks to move beyond simple tolerance, encouraging attendees to find strength and common ground through understanding and community dialogue.

Insights on cultivating peace through conversation will be shared, with time for guided discussions at each table. During the event, the winners of the student art competition will be announced. Students from across the region have submitted artwork inspired by the theme “Respecting Our Differences,” and the winning pieces will be on display.

“The breakfast serves as a vital reminder that our differences are not barriers, but rather the fabric of a vibrant community,” said Robin Small, member of the organizing committee. “We invite everyone to join us for a meal that feeds both the body and the spirit of Bowling Green.”

There is no charge, though RSVP is required at tinyurl.com/MultiFaithBreakfast2026 or by phone at 419-353-9305.
