BG Exchange Club invites community to ‘Conversation on the U.S. Constitution’

I am writing to invite area residents to join us on Wednesday, Sept. 17, when the Bowling Green Exchange Club presents “A Conversation on the U.S. Constitution” at 7 p.m. in the Wood County District Public Library.

Local attorney and Exchange member Chet Marcin will moderate a discussion with Wood County Common Pleas Court Judge Matt Reger about the Constitution from a legal perspective and entertain questions about the document.

Marcin practiced law for many years in Bowling Green before his retirement. Reger teaches a course on the Constitution at Bowling Green State University. Both men earned their law degrees from the University of Toledo.

Free and open to the public, this special event is co-sponsored by Wood County District Public Library. Program support also is being provided by the League of Women Voters.

As an organization, the Bowling Green Exchange Club works to promote pride in our nation, recognize the service of our veterans for protecting our freedoms, and celebrate our country’s rich heritage. I hope you will join us on Constitution Day (Sept. 17) for what promises to be an engaging and informative evening.
