In the heart of historic downtown Bowling Green, the farmers’ market offers a variety of fresh choices every Wednesday, from 4 – 7 p.m. in the Huntington Bank parking lot at the corner of South Main and Clough. Hosted by Work Leads to Independence, the market offers shoppers fresh flowers, fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, jams and jellies, baked goods, and more. There are also works of art for sale from various artists and different herbs and succulents from vendors.

For those who get hungry while shopping, there are food trucks scheduled every week. And for those who like to be entertained, there is a tent with weekly live music performances. Nonprofits and other community partners are also in attendance, providing information on their services and other community resources.

Eligible WIC participants can receive six $5 coupons that can be used to purchase authorized fruits, vegetables, and herbs from participating farmers. SNAP is also accepted.

The 2025 farmers’ market will run through Oct. 22.
