A group of Bowling Green High School students are planning a 13-day trip to Vietnam in June 2021.
Trip coordinator Dr. Jo Beth Gonzalez said this is an opportunity for students to experience a culture vastly different from Western societies. Over the decades since the U.S.-Vietnam War, Vietnam has developed a successful tourism industry. Students will have the opportunity to compare and contrast a wide array of cultural, geographical, and historical features.
There are a few spots so interested students can still register for the trip.
With the support of an anonymous donor, Gonzalez said that scholarship funds are available to offset travel expenses.
