Given the onslaught of daily horrific national news, inattention by some of our state elected representatives to the needs of citizen taxpayers, it’s my hope individual B.G. residents will make a point to look around and pay attention while traversing downtown B.G. this summer.
Praise needs to be expressed to those in Bowling Green City Government and the City Workers who have worked hard to repaint B.G. downtown city light poles and fixtures. Additionally, the care of gorgeous flower plantings along Main Street make it a wonderful visual experience to walk and travel through downtown. Look around and appreciate their efforts.
The continuing care and maintenance of Bowling Green leads to a sense of civic pride that is not acknowledged often enough by B.G. residents. Believe me all communities do not have such a lovely downtown.
