BG man arrested for allegedly operating motorcycle while intoxicated – three times legal limit

Bowling Green Police arrested a man for operating a motorcycle with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.248, three times the legal limit, and improper handling of a firearm.

Saturday, shortly after 1 a.m., police found a motorcycle on the ground at the intersection of East Clough and State streets. The driver, Kenseth Ziegler, 21, of Bowling Green, reportedly began running from the officer. 

The officer reportedly saw Ziegler peeking out from the side of a building, and apprehended him. In the same area, an officer found a leather biker jacket with a loaded handgun concealed in it. Ziegler claimed the jacket but not the firearm.

Ziegler was cited for OVI, failure to control, driving without a motorcycle endorsement, expired registration, obstructing official business, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, and tampering with evidence. He was taken to Wood County Jail and his driver’s license was confiscated.
