Calling all local shutterbugs. The City of Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Foundation is seeking photo submissions from the public for its first-ever wall calendar contest.
Images submitted must feature Wintergarden Woods or St. John’s Nature Preserve in celebration of the natural beauty and seasonal highlights of the Bowling Green park.
Submission guidelines:
- Up to four photos per photographer may be submitted.
- Photos must be taken of Wintergarden/St. John’s Nature Preserve.
- High-resolution digital files are preferred.
- Include the photographer’s full name and contact information with each submission.
Photos should be emailed no later than Monday, Sept. 2, to izachary@bgohio.org.
Selected images will be credited to the photographer and used in the official Wintergarden 2026 calendar, which will be available for purchase later this year. As a BG Parks and Recreation Foundation fundraiser, proceeds will support programming and preservation efforts at Wintergarden Park.
