The Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Department is offering an opportunity for young nature lovers to experience Wintergarden this winter. “Young Ones and Companions” includes a story, a short nature hike, a snack, and a craft for the theme of the month.
This program, designed to teach about environmental stewardship, is for preschool children ages 3 to 5 and their adult companions. These educational sessions take place at Wintergarden/St. John’s Preserve, from 10 – 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays. The costs are $22 for residents and $31 for non-residents.
