From CITY OF BOWLING GREEN
The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department is inviting the community to explore what’s happening in nature at Wintergarden Park in this three-part series featuring the changes throughout spring, summer, and fall. The first session, focusing on spring, will be on Monday, April 27, from 10 -11:30 a.m. at Wintergarden/St. Johns Nature Preserve.
As spring arrives, nature preserves come alive with woodland flowers, amphibians, and migratory birds. All of these species add to the diverse sounds, smells, and sights of spring. This program is led by Kim High through her Nature By High project, a free service with the vision of “enriching lives and spirits through nature and community.” To learn more, email High at kimhigh0918@gmail.com.
The program is limited to 18 participants. To reserve a place for the spring outing, contact Cinda Stutzman at 419-353-0301 or email stutzman@bgohio.gov.
