BG Persists delivers about 200 postcards from local constituents to U.S. Rep. Bob Latta’s office

BG Persists members wait their turn to speak with David Wirt at Latta's Bowling Green office.

Members of Bowling Green Persists hand delivered approximately 200 postcards filled out by local residents to U.S. Rep. Bob Latta’s office in Bowling Green on Monday afternoon.

The postcards were filled out at the town hall – which Latta did not attend – in Bowling Green on Saturday.

Holli Gray Luring, of BG Persists, was able to make an appointment for the delivery of constituent concerns with David Wirt, the director of Latta’s office in Bowling Green.

“I emphasized to David the importance of having this action witnessed, as many constituents feel unheard,” Luring said. “I also stressed the need for Rep. Latta to vote with a moral compass, recognizing the unprecedented nature of today’s political climate and the responsibility he carries in shaping the legacy and future of our country.”

BG Persists, along with the League of Women Voters of Bowling Green, and Peace Lutheran Church in Bowling Green, organized the town hall held Saturday afternoon.
