Bowling Green Police arrested a man Saturday for felony breaking and entering after he reportedly stole several guns from his family’s home in the 600 block of Morton Avenue.
David McKee, 54, of Flagstaff, Arizona, was charged and taken to Wood County Jail.
Police found evidence of a door being pried open at the house. A family member of McKee said he was not welcome at the home, and told police there were several firearms in the house. Police found the glass front of a gun cabinet had been broken out and was empty.
The guns were located at the home of a friend of McKee’s in Bowling Green. Police reportedly found 16 firearms, several without serial numbers, several bayonet knives, several American flags, and older war relic belt buckles. They were returned to the family.
