A Bowling Green man was arrested on Saturday for domestic violence, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Bowling Green Police arrested William Hunnicutt, 28, and took him to Wood County Jail.
Officers were called around 9:30 p.m., to a residence in the 900 block of South Wintergarden Road, for a woman who reported Hunnicutt had punched her more than 10 times and kicked her to the ground. She was taken to Wood County Hospital for treatment.
Prior to police arriving at the scene, Hunnicutt reportedly left the house in the woman’s van. Police picked him up, after which Hunnicutt reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.143.
