BG Police arrest Toledo man for allegedly threatening person with baseball bat

Bowling Green Police arrested a Toledo man Tuesday (Oct. 14) after he allegedly threatened a person with a baseball bat.

Police were called to the 200 block of Western Avenue around 9:10 p.m., after a family was outside socializing when Kevin Wick Jr., 25, reportedly parked his truck nearby and began revving the engine and yelling.

Wick had reportedly been trespassed from the home due to a previous incident.

A man from the home walked over to confront Wick, who then allegedly got out of the truck and climbed into the truck bed and grabbed a metal baseball bat, and reportedly made a threat to kill the man.

Wick reportedly heard the police being called, and took off toward the hospital in the truck. He was found there shortly after, with a metal baseball bat in his truck.

He was arrested for aggravated menacing and taken to Wood County Jail.
