Bowling Green Police Division responded to an overdose last week and arrested an Indiana woman for a warrant from Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Shyanna Vestal, 40, was found blue when police and the Bowling Green Fire Division responded Thursday, Nov. 11, around 7:02 p.m., to the report of a drug overdose in the 300 block of East Evers Street.
The person reporting the overdose had administered a dose of Narcan to Vestal, and the fire division administered another dose. At one point Vestal stopped breathing, according to the police report.
After an IV of Narcan was administered, Vestal began to wake up. Vestal reportedly told the firefighters that she had snorted heroin.
Dispatch informed the police officers on the scene that Vestal had a warrant from Seneca County Sheriff`s Office for an attempted drug offense. The fire division transported Vestal to Wood County Hospital for medical clearance, then the police division transferred her to the Seneca County Sheriff`s Office.
