Bowling Green Police arrested a woman late Wednesday night for domestic violence at a home in the 1000 block of Arrowhead Drive.
Kiana Garvey, 28, Bowling Green, was taken to Wood County Jail.
Police responded to the home at 11:13 p.m., to find a woman with a bruised and swollen left eye, scratches on her left hand, and a cut on her right knee. The woman reportedly told police that she and Garvey were in a verbal argument when Garvey pushed her, causing her to fall over a stool. Garvey then reportedly struck the woman in the face with a closed fist.
According to the police report, Garvey admitted to punching the woman in the face, saying she “made a good connection.”
The victim of the domestic violence was taken to Wood County Hospital.
