Bowling Green Police Division had a busy weekend, with several citations being issued – including 37 charges of underage possession and 41 open containers – with some of those involving the same people. There were also seven citations involving marijuana, and four disorderly conducts. The bulk of the citations were in the downtown area, plus some in the areas of Summit, Enterprise, Ridge and Manville streets.
The police also responded to two thefts from motor vehicles, one from the parking lot at Home@Suites on East Wooster Street, and one from the park building parking lot behind Rosenboom on West Gypsy Lane Road.
