Bowling Green Police arrested one juvenile for domestic violence and another for assault last week.
On Thursday (April 17), at 7:10 p.m., police responded to a home in the 200 block of South Summit Street, for a 13-year-old boy who had repeatedly hit a member of the family with a shoe. He had previously been charged with domestic violence in February. He was taken to the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center.
On Friday (April 18), around 9:40 p.m., police were called about a male reportedly punching a woman in the face in the 1400 block of Scott Hamilton Avenue. The police found the woman with blood all over her face, hands, arms and chest due to a cut on her nose.
The incident started with an argument during a “bikini party,” followed by the 17-year-old male reportedly throwing Hawaiian Punch in the woman’s face, then punching her in the face with a closed fist.
The male was taken to Wood County Juvenile Detention Center.
BG Police also arrested a woman on Sunday (April 20) around 4:12 a.m., when officers were called to an apartment in the 1500 block of Clough Street, after a couple had reportedly been arguing over their crying baby. The mother, who was charged with slapping the father, was taken to Wood County Jail.
