Bowling Green Police Division handled two assault cases on Sunday.
The first was called in around 1 p.m., to a home in the 200 block of South Enterprise Street. Gavin Smith, 20, of Bowling Green, was cited for assault after he allegedly pushed a man into a wall, putting a hole in the drywall, then reportedly threw the man into a screen door, breaking the door and injuring the man’s hand.
The other call came around 11:30 p.m., from a home in the 300 block of Derby Avenue. Tiffany Rathburn, 37, of Bowling Green, was cited for assault after she allegedly hit a man in the face several times and split his lip open.
