Bowling Green Police Division is investigating the break-in of 15 vehicles overnight in apartment complex parking lots in the 300 and 400 blocks of Napoleon Road.
Police Lt. Adam Skaff said the initial report came in around 4 a.m. of a window broken out of a vehicle and a purse stolen from inside.
Officers walked through the parking lot to see if other cars had been damaged. They found a total of 15 vehicles, the majority of which had not been locked, but they had been rummaged through, with glove compartments and center consoles being opened.
“We notified a lot of the people of the issue,” Skaff said.
